Reads a continuous beam's design straight from ETABS through the bridge — every span's required steel, the columns at its supports, Vg and Pu — and details it: continuous and extra bars with their cutoffs, SMRF or IMRF hoops, the capacity-design shear and the full compliance checklist, drawn as a long section with sections, ready for DXF.
The spans, their sizes, f'c and fy, the steel ETABS asks for at every station, the columns at each support (for the clear span), Vg and Pu all come in (1.3.2 also sends the moments, shears and torsions), and stay editable.
Loaded: Example: FB-05C, two spans
Each zone starts from the least set: within 2h of an SMF's face every corner and alternate bar is held (none more than 6 in clear from a held one, §21.5.3.3), and a crosstie is added where the demand or Ve would close the hoops below 4 in (torsion counts on the two outer legs only).
As PCA Notes' Example 29.2: where φMn of the continuing bars meets Mu, + max(d, 12db) (§12.10.3); ≥ ℓd past the face (§12.10.4); the farthest third of the top steel past the inflection point (§12.12.3); §12.10.5 at the cut. In an SMF the diagram includes the probable moments at the faces with gravity.
Where ETABS reads a torque at a station, the transverse and longitudinal torsion steel is the larger of ETABS's and the code's from that torque (§11.5, the shear-torsion calculator's equations, θ = 45°, λ = 1). The checklist names the code's rows.
By CRSI's table of the most bars in one layer. In a 12" web: 4 × Ø16, 4 × Ø20, 3 × Ø25, 3 × Ø28, 3 × Ø32. The size that takes the fewest layers is chosen first.
Extra bars fill the continuous bars' layer first, then the next — never one bar alone in a second layer: one comes down from the first.
Where the top bars' hooks don't fit the end column, the face holds only what they develop (φMn); the rest of the moment goes to mid-span (+½ΔM), and the bottom bars are sized again for it (§8.4).

0 for no column (a cantilever's tip) or one not known — its checks then say so.
Everything you have entered is in the address bar, so the link reproduces this exact calculation.
Continuous bars blue, extra bars red with their marks and lengths past each column face, hoops purple, side bars green. Click any bar, its label, its row in the schedule or a hoop zone to change it. Dimensions and text are sized for 1:50. The DXF is the long section only, on its own layers (BEAM-REBAR-CONT, BEAM-REBAR-EXTRA, BEAM-HOOPS…), in inches.
φMn = 0.9·As·fy·(d − a/2) of the continuous bars and every extra bar over the point, each taken as developed along its length.
φVn = 0.75·(Vc + Av·fyt·d/s) with each zone's legs and spacing; Vc = 0 within 2h of an SMF's face (§21.5.4.2); Vs ≤ 8√f'c·bw·d.
φTn = 0.75·2·Ao·At·fyt/s (θ = 45°, Ao = 0.85·Aoh, At one outer leg; §11.5.3.6), each zone's spacing. The hoops carry shear and torsion together: their check is Av/s + 2At/s, in the hoop zones.
d = 21.7, 21.7" by span. The moment diagram is the envelope of ETABS's M3 (or the moment of the steel ETABS asked for) and the probable moments at the faces with the gravity load, sway either way (w = 2Vg/ℓn, ¾ of it for the negative moments). The bar length adds the column between two runs, and hooks where a bar ends in an end column.
